Olga is eight years old. She loves her mother, singing lessons and the swing and sometimes bakes muffins with her friend Evelina. Shortly before her ninth birthday, Olga's life suddenly changes. Mom ends up in the hospital, so Olga meanwhile has to live with her aunt and uncle, get used to someone else's home and new rules, and get along with her six-year-old cousin, who is not at all happy to have a guest.
Olga pours out her longing, composing songs, and tries her best to be
a good daughter, sister, niece, friend, student. And there are new unexpected discoveries and big changes ahead.
